I went there this Friday and the lunch buffet was FANTASTIC:) Yes, the scenery and the Biathlon stadium is stunning as well obviously, but- frankly speaking- the buffet selection and the kind owners beat it all for me. I ended up taking the elevator downstairs in a beautiful food coma and definitely will be back in winter! If hearty Scandinavian food makes you happy, definitely pay Arctura Restaurang a visit when you are in Östersund:)

Excellent atmosphere and view is extremely Good here. Food is limited options with buffet , but taste is very nice and good. Soup and dhall is ultimate and must try items. During mid of the week, there may be a chance of rush. Pre-book the table to...

The place was really nice. The view was spectacular thanks to the height and the panoramic windows. The food was quite good. Despite of the fact it is self serving restaurant I thought that the variety would be much more. The food that I ate was good. Anyway, it’s a nice place for a simple midweek lunch.

Egentligen skulle inte restaurangen ha lunchbuffe eftersom det är lördag, men sista dagen på draghunds-VM inverkade på dem så att de dukade upp en excellent buffé! Älgfärsbullar, kokt potatis, rårörda lingon, brunsås, fläsksida och bolognesegratäng. Salladsbuffén såg riktigt läcker ut och var väl upplagd. Till efterrätt kunde man ta kaffe och chokladmousse samt morotskaka om man ville ha det. Även våffelgrill och vispgrädde fanns. Utsikten är svåröverträffad och riktigt fin! Priset på 155 kr för buffén känns lite i högsta laget, men jag måste säga att smaken och upplevelsen var värt det. Toaletten var mycket välskött och lyxig faktiskt! Kort och gott, helhetsupplevelsen är klart imponerande!
