I Love Pizza - Utby — Restaurant in Göteborgs Stad

I recently visited I Love Pizza in Utby, Gothenburg, and I must say it was a very pleasant experience overall. The restaurant is conveniently located right at the corner of the roundabout, making it easy to spot and access. There is parking space available nearby, which is a big plus, especially since it’s situated close to the edge of the roundabout for quick entry and exit.

The restaurant itself is surprisingly spacious, both inside and outside. Inside, there is a massive amount of space with comfortable seating, providing plenty of privacy even when the restaurant gets busy. Outside seating is also available, which is especially enjoyable when the sun is out. The open-air atmosphere makes it a perfect spot for a casual family meal or to relax with friends.

One thing I noticed is that the restaurant is often quite busy, which is always a good sign. They offer a wide variety of pizzas, so there is something for every taste. The pizzas are fresh, tasty, and served hot, which clearly shows the quality they maintain. Personally, I found the pizza to be delicious and well-prepared, definitely living up to expectations.

They also have a salad bar, though I should mention it was a bit underwhelming. It mostly consisted of lettuce with vinegar and olive oil, as you can see from the picture I’ve shared. I think this is an area where they could improve by adding more variety to the salad bar. Drinks are available, which nicely complement the meal.

The overall environment is very friendly and welcoming. The staff were polite, and the atmosphere felt nice and relaxed. With the spacious layout, good pizza, and pleasant service, I Love Pizza Utby is a place worth visiting whether you’re with family, friends, or even alone.

Would not recommend. Ordered pizza and two kebab rolls using the app and got an estimate of 15 min. I show up after 10 minutes, announce that I am there, and get the response my order will be done shortly. Its a busy day and 30 minutes go by, and still no order, I hear people asking for their order and receiving it within a couple of minutes. The order number is now 20+ past mine, when I go up and ask for my order, the cashier responds “Will be done soon” turns around and makes a note on my order and moves it to the front (was last). 2 minutes later I have my order. So apparently the queue means nothing, and you have to nag to get your order. The pizza had been done since I arrived, I had seen it on top of the oven and it was cold and stale now. On top of it all I had two hungry and tired kids with me at the time which did not make the experience of waiting while others get priority feel any better… I will be going somewhere else...

definetly one of the best places to get pizza. and compared to other I love pizza places this one is hands down the best. the quality of the food is great relative to the price, the food there is tasty, fresh and you can see that they put an effort in making it the best. but what really striked me about this one place in particular is the customer loyalty and how they earn trust in customers. you walk in, although they are stressed they still have a smile when providing the service. I'd be lying if I said this place is flawless. But this is still one of the best places to grab a pizza. during weekends this place could be packed so I recommend ordering by phone then to go there and have the bite since it can...
