We had the pleasure of enjoying an early dinner at Långedrag Värdshus, and from start to finish, the experience was nothing short of extraordinary. Nestled right along the water’s edge, the restaurant offers truly stunning views of the ocean—calm, expansive, and utterly mesmerizing. The setting alone feels like a breath of fresh air.

The space itself is beautifully designed, with a clean, airy elegance that perfectly complements the coastal surroundings. But what truly elevated our evening was the exceptional service, especially from our server, Julia. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and warm. She even went out of her way to make our young child feel welcome by bringing paper and colored pencils—a thoughtful gesture that made the evening even more relaxed and enjoyable for our family.

And then, there’s the food—wow. I ordered the halibut, and it was mind-blowingly good—perfectly cooked, delicate, and bursting with flavor. My husband had the mussels, which he’s still talking about. Every bite felt carefully crafted, showcasing fresh, high-quality ingredients and true culinary skill.

Well I come here to enjoy the dinner with my girlfriend, wonderful place full of people how don’t know to do them job !!! I have no idea why the manager doesn’t take any time of control in here . After 45 min wait my lobster is coming but her food is take a way longer then it have too, after one of the women put the lobster in my face she didn’t explain that the her food it will come after 15-20 min wait! Ofc my food is getting cold till the time her good is coming, we’ll I ask her to warm my food and to bring it in the same time as my girlfriend food ! Because I get out to have a dinner with my girlfriend not me to eat first and her to stay look at me . No respect for the customer at all ! To big disappoint ! They just ruin my dinner ! The price is not according to the service you get, I often have dinner at above average restaurants and this one was surprisingly poor in service. The food, location and view was great however. We ordered the sea bass (fish), vegetarian and beef tenderloins, all satisfied with the quality of the food and design , however we were surprised by the poor service: when I asked to taste the vine the waitresses seemed surprised , she was not able to describe the recommended wine to the dish , I got the vine in a glass with lipstick mark on it :( Also it took a while till we get our drinks and the bread after we had ordered. When the dishes arrived the waiter just left them on the table without introducing the food which was weird ! No one came to ask about our experience while we were at the table . Even after we finished the waitress did not ask us how the food was ! Just a simple : are you finished?
