NOBLE HOUSE SUSHI & IZAKAYA — Restaurant in Göteborgs Stad

Updated review 2023-07-22 The sushi has become better since my last review, it tastes good and the quality is also good. Still not a great sushi restaurant, but better than it was during my review last year. Atmosphere is nice and staff friendly.

I recently tried their Miso soup and noticed that their Miso tastes like salmon. I have talked to other who have eaten there who actually dont take any Miso for that reason. Miso should be clear, and salty, now its oily and fishy, not very pleasant.

From someone who has eaten a lot of sushi all over the world I would rate this sushi as OK. The sushi is priced somewhat above average. The quality of the food is seemingly good, but the actual sushi itself is very very simple, nothing out of the ordinary.

Overpriced food. Empty on evening in a quite commercially area, it says something by itself. Took 1 hour before 11 sushi was served, while there were 2 tables, and 4 take away. The other table had to fetch fork and kniv by themselves, note this was not lunch serve but evening service . Dumpling was boring. The sushi was not done to average asian sushi level in sweden... Excellent sushi and great sashimi. I couldn't remember the last time we had sushi like this in Sweden. Would recommend to anyone and would be worth a drive in the Kungsbacka and Gothenburg area that is how good they are. The service was good too and the price Excellent i must say.
