We had the pleasure of having our wedding weekend inaugural meet and greet happy hour drinks and tapas event here. Åsa and Björn the owners were amazing to work with. They are completely customer service focused and will bend over backwards to make your ideas come to fruition. We had almost 100 people come to our wedding post beach yoga get together drinks and tapas event on a sunny, warm, June Friday early evening here. The place is chill, relaxed, beachy, with a dose of fun and creativity so a perfect place to get a group together to meet each other for the first time and be comfortable before a wedding later on in the weekend. Everything was ready for us when we arrived at 6pm and no one had to wait more than 2 minutes to get their favorite beverage or a fun cocktail (try the Sarti Spritz---amazing blend of tart and refreshing grapefruit liquer with a healthy pour of Prosecco!). The food we had chosen was laid out beautifully and ready for the guests to enjoy. The home made Gazpacho is a must have so make sure you order that. The food was always replenished before it ran out and was arranged nicely as well. Plenty of staff that greeted everyone with big smiles including the Owners who are VERY hands on and will ensure you and your guests are 100% happy. I recently had the pleasure of dining at strand cafe, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. This hidden gem nestled in close to beach not only serves fantastic food but also boasts a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home.

Nice restaurant situated right beside a famous beach with an amazing atmosphere and smooth reggae music playing in the background.

Interesting way of ordering food. You scan a QR-code (on the beer bottle in the picture) and it takes you to the website where you order and pay and then notifies the kitchen. It gives you a notification when your food is at the counter, and the time of ordering is on the receipt.

I ordered a pizza (which was mediocre and quite dry) while my parents both ordered pasta carbonara. I received my food about 10 minutes after the order was placed meanwhile my parents had to wait for around 40 minutes for their food, without any notice that it would arrive late. They got their food in the end but it ended up being ‘okay’. You would think the food would taste better if it took so long...
