Prego Resturante — Restaurant in Höganäs kommun

So I was hungry and I slipped in for a bite. Pleasantly surprised. I chose the pizza not 22. an on paper standard kebabpizza but in real life a little delight. Staff is of fine restaurant quality. Open, correct, clean and polite. Pizzas are thin but not so thin as they become all crunchy. Sure it's a price range higher than some But not by much. Here you get what you pay for. Even though there's no shortage of customer they are dealt with the same courtesy and efficiency as seated dining guests. Vom Ambiente hat das Lokal ein bisschen einen Eisdielen-Charakter, allerdings einen sehr netten. Weil die Preise auch moderat erscheinen hatte ich jetzt nichts besonderes erwartet.

Aber meine Güte ist das weit gefehlt. Ich habe mir einen Parmesalat, Pasta Alfredo und Aglio e Olio e Perperoncino mit meinem Gegenüber geteilt und es war mit Abstand alles drei das Beste italienische Essen, das ich bisher hatte. Alles andere bisher war allenfalls gleich gut auf keinen Fall besser!

The atmosphere of the place is somewhat reminiscent of an ice cream parlor, but in a very charming way. Since the prices also seemed moderate, I didn’t expect anything particularly special.

But oh my goodness, how wrong I was. I shared a Parmesan salad, Pasta Alfredo, and Aglio e Olio e Peperoncino with my companion, and all three were by far the best Italian dishes I’ve ever had. Everything else I’ve tried so far was at best just as good—certainly not better!

An absolute recommendation!

Stämningen på stället påminner lite om en glassbar, men på ett väldigt trevligt sätt. Eftersom priserna också verkade rimliga, förväntade jag mig inget särskilt.

Men oj, så fel jag hade. Jag delade en parmesansallad, pasta Alfredo och Aglio e Olio e Peperoncino med mitt sällskap, och alla tre rätterna var utan tvekan det bästa italienska jag någonsin har ätit. Allt annat jag har provat tidigare har som mest varit lika bra – aldrig bättre!

The restaurant owner let me pay 2 times. When I told him (and show him the the double payment receipts) he will not listen and not give me the money back. After repeatedly asking politely if he would refund the amount I paid twice and him refusing to do so, I reported it to the police and informed other people in Viken. To be continued.
