It’s enough if you just pass by this place, you feel the typical, tasty and good Indian food which makes it impossible to not eat here when you’re hungry. The price for a dish is around 90kr and for that you get rice, some salad and lamb or chicken. I bought madras lamb and chicken madras which in my opinion didn’t has much of a taste, it tasted good though but my expectations was higher. If you like garlic bread then you should definitely try it cuz it’s so soft and it tasted really really good. One thing they can make better is to put garlic all over the bread and not just in the middle. So in total I’ll give this place 4/5 :) we bought 3 dishes and 2 garlic bread and the price was around 300kr which pretty good. I've eaten at curry republik in Väla shopping center (Helsingborg) many times over the years. I've always enjoyed the vegetarian curries and would usually score it 7 or 8 out of 10. Today, I can only give it 4 out of 10! The curry no longer tastes authentic and they are now using frozen veg as their ingredients. The frozen carrots were simply awful and other veg not much better. There is simply no reason whatsoever using frozen produce. The only reason I'm giving it a 4* is the garlic naan bread was still very tasty, & not dry. The food was average. The taste was OK. The naan bread was good. The sizzler was almost good but it was too salty. The Chicken Tikka Masala was OK but was loaded with food coloring. Which is disappointing because you actually don't need so much food coloring if you cook the dish right. I think they focused so much on how appealing the food looks over how delicious it should taste. This is definitely the first Indian restaurant to offer Chicken Sizzlers so that a plus point but i feel they need to improve in quality.
