The location is amazing, right on the edge of the water. The ambience is created in an intelligent way, mixing an outdoor patio with comfortable and stylish indoor seating that yet almost has a food-truck feel to it. Very good indeed ! We had reserved a table for lunch, but when we arrived, nobody seemed to care really. Feeling awkward standing around waiting for a non-existent hostess, we asked a waitress who pointed to an empty table. We sat down and expected to get menus, but no such luck. Several lunch guests who arrived after us got both menus and food before us - annoying to say the least. The menu has a nice fusion of Traditional Swedish food and basic Asian dishes. We had the Caesar salad and the Boneless pork chop. While the pork arrived in a generous serving, the salad wouldn't even qualify as a starter in the rest of the world. Tasty but small. All-in-all, the place has potential, but needs some work on...

Its a small restaurant with free parking right next to it. If you sit by the window you have a great view on the ships sailing from Kattagat into the Sound and the other way arround. The open kitchen serves amazing food, tender spare-ribs and a fish soup to die for. Our main course was served before we finished our starter which we found a bit odd. But we noticed a big group coming in right after us so lets say we understood they needed the whole, not so big kitchen, for that. But still, they demonstrated their capacity to serve good quality food at lightning speed.

And once you,re done eating you can go to the beach which is right outside.

If you are in Helsingborg, go and eat here. Sit by the window, look at the ships and Denmark on the other side and enjoy...

I recently visited Strandhust in Helsingborg and was really disappointed with the whole experience. First off, there’s no English menu, which made it difficult to understand the options. I ordered sweet and sour chicken, but when it arrived, the chicken was terrible, and just disgusting in taste.

I immediately told the waiter, and he asked what I’d like instead. I chose a vegan dish, but he insisted I still pay for the original, which made no sense. The manager was rude when I spoke to him. He insisted the dish was fine, claiming he serves it all the time. When I asked if he would eat it himself, he said yes, which I found hard to believe because the taste was horrible.

Overall, terrible food, bad service, and no effort to make things right. I won’t be...
