During my visit to "The Champions Burger" festival, I had the pleasure of trying a burger from Rekas Burger. Without exaggeration, I can say that this was one of the best burgers I have ever eaten. The taste was outstanding and the balance of the ingredients was simply perfect. The first bite revealed an explosion of flavors that engaged all the senses. The meat was juicy, perfectly smashed and grilled and well-seasoned, with a subtle pepper note that set it apart from other burgers. Every bite was a delight for any meat lover. The bun was soft and fluffy, yet slightly sturdy enough to hold the filling without becoming soggy.
The perfect symbiosis between the smashed meat, the fluffy bun, the onions, and the sauces was exceptional. The onions, slightly caramelized, added a pleasant sweetness that perfectly complemented the savoriness of the meat. The sauces were expertly chosen and applied, enhancing the flavor of the burger without overwhelming it. They harmoniously tied the ingredients together and added a creamy, flavorful note to every bite. The inclusion of fried jalapeños provided an exquisite, balanced spiciness that elevated the entire burger experience.
Conclusion: Reka's Burger presented a burger at "The Champions Burger" festival that set new standards in taste and quality. The careful selection and preparation of the ingredients created a harmonious flavor experience that I won't forget anytime soon. This burger was a real highlight and an absolute recommendation for any...
Read moreAmerican-style venue, wooden walls decorated with vintage US advertising posters, very nice. It has a terrace for smokers and good weather. I have seen that they have a butcher shop behind. I don't know which came first, but it's a good sign. We place the order next to the door and they give us a disc to let us know when our order is ready. In just over 10 minutes we had the hamburger on the table.
We've tried the Malmo smash (110 SEK)
Nice hamburger, served on a tray with its paper envelope. The menu includes chips and drink. Great price.
The bread It's not the best of the hamburger, but it's not bad either. Does not hold ingredients 2 pieces of 100g smash beef, each with a slice of cheddar. Excellent quality and flavor, the best hamburger meat I've eaten in Malmö. Perfect point of meat and perfect crispy layer. Abundant pickles, the crunchy is appreciated and that there are many. The onion is good, the caramelized is noticeable and combines with the rest of the ingredients. I think the mayonnaise or the onion added an excess of salt to the whole. Without a doubt, it is the best hamburger I have tried in Malmö, it is well deservedly famous. Double cheese is perhaps too much, it ends up cloying and taking too much prominence, although it does not completely outshine the meat at any time. Balanced hamburger, with a final salty aftertaste, surely from mayonnaise or onion, is a point to...
Read moreI have never been to Malmö, but I have had the Rekas Burger at the Championship Burger Festival in Germany, and for me their Burger was the best I have ever had. Nothing could compare to any German Burger. It was only a year later that I found out that Sweden is like the Master Country for Smash Burgers in all of Europe, I later was in Stockholm to also try the Funky Chicken and other top Burgers in the BurgerDudes List. But for me the Rekas Burger will forever be in my memory as the first „Best Burger I ever had!“ Everything was so perfect, even if it was a very „normal“ burger, nothing too fancy or creative out of the ordinary, but the composition of all the ingredients, the sour pickled onions, the sweet caramelized onions, the spicyness of the fried jalapeños, the perfect taste of the sauce, the juiciness and yet crunchiness of the meat, the overall taste, in my memory it is still vivid how perfect this burger was, and I hope that someday I will make it to Malmö, or that their food truck will travel to a place that is closer...
