ChopChop Asian Express — Restaurant in Norrtälje kommun

Third time's a charm. I went here when they had recently opened and it was 'okay'. I was expecting food like Panda Express so to me, the food lacked flavor, was a bit on the dry side and the portion-sizes were way too small for the money. I just returned for the third time since I was in the neighborhood and gave it another try and everything had improved. They gave me a generous portion and the food was fresh and tasted way better than the previous two visits. There was 'more' of everything so-to-speak. I liked it. I could have just been lucky with my timing, or maybe the food is just better now. I don't know. Maybe I knew how high to set the bar and I was pleasantly surprised to see it surpassed my expectations.

ChopChop is to Chinese food like Subway is to a café, it's a quick bite to eat. It's easy to order too, just use the touch-screen and pick a dish and a side, add any additional stuff to it and pay using your debit card or cash. After you're done you get a receipt with your number on it, they'll call your number and hand you the food once it's ready. Done. You don't even have to say anything.

The three times I've been here, the tables have always been messy. it's not really a big deal to me, I just wipe the table before I eat and after I have finished.

ChopChop is Chinese takeout, you can take it to go or you can eat there. The whole thing is built around getting you food, and getting it to you fast. If you are looking for a place to sit for a bit with a friend or two and talk for a while, I'd choose the Chinese restaurant down Stockholmsvägen next to FlygFyren.

I always consider ChopChop a great Asian fast food place. This is not the best ChopChop I've been to but it is still a good place. It is always clean and servers their usual great food.
