Gyllene Räven is a great resturant in the higher priceclass. Although it was slightly cheaper than I expected. It is first of all very clean and all the staff are very nice and welcoming. The theme of the resturant with a story following through the menu is very spot on!
Now the most important of course is the food! It was great, as always I had some small changes I would make but this is only on personal preference. I took some photos but sadly missed one of the entrées.
Image 1: Steamed Bao, This was really good, I highly recommend, The sweet glaze of the pork paired with the bun and the umami was a perfect match.
Image 2: Fried Haddock, This was perfectly crispy but the real star of this dish is the dill-fries!
Image 3: Glazed Pork on Grilled Pineapple, Although maybe a bit much pork when paired with the Bao entrée it was a great dish. Once again the pork was heavenly and with the grilled pineapple it was perfect
Image 4: Peanut-Cola Pie, This was my partners favorite and when tasting I can agree that it is absolutely delicious. Highly recommend!
Image 5: Bavaroise with a Raspberry sorbet, The bavaroise was my first so I wont bash it for not really being what I was expecting, If you like bavaroise I know you will like this. The raspberry sorbet was also...
Read moreTL:DR, our drinks were late, we got food with onion despite clear communication about allergies, and the order was changed.
The service was the Achilles heel. We visited as a company of three and the waiter first made the wrong order for me. Later the waiter returned to tell us we could not have what we ordered which was troubling since I ordered the only vegan option they had and my friend had specifically order a course without onions which the waiter confirmed ge would get. A compromise was made and we got a salad with avocadoes and one with chicken, however also with onion, so my onion allergic friend asked if the third course coming in would be without onion which again the waiter confirmed he could have the onion removed. Once that course came in, guess what, there was onion on it. All the while we were waiting for our drinks.
The only reason it was a two and not a one star was because another waiter got us a...
Read moreDon’t get the hype about the place. Went there for a summer lunch, had to wait 10 min and finally asked if I can order some drinks. The almonds never came. The very simple summer menu was ok but nothing above average (is an omelette even a lunch plate?). Then we had to wait 20 minutes until somebody took our empty dishes from the table, tried to order a second beer to no avail, and the place was not even packed. The staff was clearly not experienced (first week in school break), but absolutely not supervised nor guided. Service: no-no, food: so-so. I would...
