Sundarbans Indisk Restaurang — Restaurant in Stockholm

I went to this place on May 3, 2025. We were a group of 8 (including 2 small kids). Even though we went at 13:15 well past their opening time, there was hardly any staff except for one who was taking what looked like a takeaway order from another small group of customers. I was stared at and then subsequently ignored by this staff. We had to take the menu ourselves since the staff disappeared into the kitchen. No welcome, no acknowledgement, nothing. We waited for another 10 minutes for the staff to take our order. During this time another small group of 4 people sat nearby and the staff magically appeared, ignored us again, took their order and disappeared back into the kitchen. We called him again and his response was a rather rude and curt “Vanta!”. Another 5 minutes later, he came by. We thought he was finally going to take our order. Instead, to our disbelief, he said we needed to wait atleast 10 more minutes to order. That was all we could stand and we decided to leave. So thanks a lot for nothing and leaving us all annoyed and hungry. I had often been to this place since 2016. Seems like it has changed a lot since my last time around a year ago. This will be the last time and my experience today will surely help me not make the mistake of going to this...

Unfortunately this place hasn't managed to deliver the same quality the 3 times I have been there. My last visit was probably the last visit for real. Food was bad...out of the three dishes we ordered everything was either burnt, heated and dry or had a weird flavour as if something was slightly off. We were even thinking if our table was 2 cm lower than the rest or why the staff kept smashing our plates and glasses in front of us. Did not feel...

A restaurant in Stockholm that offers authentic Bengali taste. Most amazing thing here that you will get absolutely taste of Bengali spices and masala. All foods are tasty there and even the chicken items are so juicy there. A must go place for every weekend...
