🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 5/5 – The Qave: Real African Taste in the Heart of Stockholm!
I had an unforgettable experience at The Qave – a true gem for African food lovers in Stockholm!
I started with the pepper soup as an entrée, served with sweet plantain and crispy spring rolls – the perfect warm-up! Then I had Ofe Nsala with oxtail and Ofe Okra, and wow… 🥰🥰🥰the taste was authentic, rich, and full of soul. The oxtail was tender and packed with flavor, and the soups were seasoned to perfection.
This place delivers real African taste that speaks to all Africans, no matter where you’re from – whether you’re Nigerian, Ghanaian, Congolese, Angola ,Guine ,Somali or beyond. You can feel the love and heritage in every bite.
The vibe is warm and elegant, the service is super friendly, and the portions are generous. I was so full I didn’t even have room for dessert – but I’ll definitely be back soon to try it!

I ordered Beans & Plantain Fusion, and flavor was fantastic, a new taste for me, full of spice and an explosion of flavors in my mouth. (you can ask how spicy you want your food). For a first try, I couldn’t have asked for better!

We really enjoyed the food, and the staff were kind, helpful, and gave us lots of great recommendations. The interior design is modern with Nigerian touches, and the music was the other winner of the night, created such a warm and...
Read moreI was so disheartened I must say…I arrived 30min after their opening time so it was not busy at all, maybe 6 other people were there… I made my order for Jollof rice and Zobo drink I was so excited to try Nigerian cuisine for the first time. After waiting 1hr 40mins.. for the food, I unfortunately decided to pay for my drink and leave. (I did get apologies and offer to wait ten more minutes to check if I can get it as takeaway.. but I politely declined. I did get the drink on the house though. (I had to leave because I had a two hour parking and honestly despite being a patient person, it was too much for me. I don’t think I will ever go back there again… I will have to go to Nigeria to try their cuisine. I drove instead to Mall of Scandinavia.. got my food in less...
