It was our first time trying Nigerian food n let’s say it was wonderful! I ordered Beans & Plantain Fusion, and flavor was fantastic, a new taste for me, full of spice and an explosion of flavors in my mouth. (you can ask how spicy you want your food). For a first try, I couldn’t have asked for better! The Zobo drink was also great, sour with a hint of ginger, and it paired perfectly with the meal. For dessert, we went with the simple Puff Puff, which was so delicious, the texture and taste reminded me a lot of Iranian piroshki. Next time we’ll try the choco Puff Puff! We really enjoyed the food, and the staff were kind, helpful, and gave us lots of great recommendations. The interior design is modern with Nigerian touches, and the music was the other winner of the night, created such a warm and lively atmosphere.

I was so excited that there’s finally a Nigerian restaurant in Stockholm. The place is a little bit of a trek to get to, but once we’d arrived it was sooo worthwhile. The interiors design was lovely, the staff was welcoming, everything was super clean. Food was served within 15 minutes and was honestly the BEST Egusi stew I’ve ever had due to high quality meat cuts. Was it worth the hype? 💯 🙂‍↕️

Ridiculously long waiting time just to get your order taken. I don’t recommend going when you’re already hungry and it was practically empty so I don’t understand the delay. I’ll be back when I have nothing else to do but wait, as I would still like to review the food for my blog.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 5/5 – The Qave: Real African Taste in the Heart of Stockholm!

I had an unforgettable experience at The Qave – a true gem for African food lovers in Stockholm!

I started with the pepper soup as an entrée, served with sweet plantain and crispy spring rolls – the perfect warm-up! Then I had Ofe Nsala with oxtail and Ofe Okra, and wow… 🥰🥰🥰the taste was authentic, rich, and full of soul. The oxtail was tender and packed with flavor, and the soups were seasoned to perfection.

This place delivers real African taste that speaks to all Africans, no matter where you’re from – whether you’re Nigerian, Ghanaian, Congolese, Angola ,Guine ,Somali or beyond. You can feel the love and heritage in every bite.

The vibe is warm and elegant, the service is super friendly, and the portions are generous. I was so full I didn’t even have room for dessert – but I’ll definitely be back soon to try it!

If you're looking for a true taste of Africa in Stockholm – The Qave is the...

I was so disheartened I must say…I arrived 30min after their opening time so it was not busy at all, maybe 6 other people were there… I made my order for Jollof rice and Zobo drink I was so excited to try Nigerian cuisine for the first time. After waiting 1hr 40mins.. for the food, I unfortunately decided to pay for my drink and leave. (I did get apologies and offer to wait ten more minutes to check if I can get it as takeaway.. but I politely declined. I did get the drink on the house though. (I had to leave because I had a two hour parking and honestly despite being a patient person, it was too much for me. I don’t think I will ever go back there again… I will have to go to Nigeria to try their cuisine. I drove instead to Mall of Scandinavia.. got my food in less...
