ChopChop Asian Express — Restaurant in Umeå kommun

Food was gooooood! Especially the chicken karaage with the sriracha mayo. We got both snack boxes (chicken karaage, spring rolls, crispy shrimp), vegetarian sushi, pak choi, and orange chicken with rice. All the food was prepared quickly, even though the restaurant was full. The food looked exactly like the menu photos, which is a big plus! The sushi had a nice presentation. We also ordered dessert, semla cråffla and chocolate cråffla, both were lovely. If you have the chance, don't miss out on the semla cråffla.

The atmoshpere was really nice, even though there were a lot of people you could still have a conversation and there was also nice background music. I really like the interior design and the decor. Lovely place! Fantastic food, I especially loved the vegetarian sushi platter and the crispy shrimp (which is part of the big snack box). The crispy shrimp were some of the best I’ve tried. The food was prepared quickly and the entire order was prepared at the same time, both the “cold” food (i.e. the sushi) and the warm food. The food looked fantastic and tasted just as good as it looked. For dessert I had the ”kråffla” and it was astonishingly delicious!

The interior of the restaurant is pretty and brightly lit with a warm light, it’s cosy but still roomy. It didn’t get crowded at all, even though each table was filled with people. It also didn’t get very loud, the volume of the music was good.

The service was very good, with friendly and knowledgeable staff, that go out of their way to help out.

All in all a fantastic food...

I deleted my 5-star review due to huge disappointment. As usual, i ordered a maki verison of a sushi and explained to them throughly what i want and according to the restaurant staff (including shift manager) this photo is what maki should be... When i received the wrong order, they smiled and offered no compensation. Menu is already not children friendly, and their unwillingness to help or understand makes it worse.
