Surprisingly open today, and they had a special price for lunch (despite it being a helgdag!). Still very quick, tasty, and filling - well worth the occasional detour just to eat here 😊
Ordered several dishes to go. The time estimate (~10 minutes) was right on. There is a discount if you get food to go, but even the eat-in prices are reasonable for the (fairly generous) portion sizes. Everything was freshly cooked and tasty. Their hot sauce tastes quite unique, as if sambal oelek, Chinese chili oil, and lemongrass had a baby. Maybe it's homemade? The service was great. Would stop by again if in Västerås!
PS-Fellow Canadians and Americans may appreciate the "6. friterad kyckling med sötsur sås" - while the sauce isn't at all like our version, the fried chicken is the closest I've had to chicken balls in Sweden...
Read moreFive stars for the foods from me. It is not popular to have crispy ducks and tofu in a Sweden restaurant and I found it very surprised to eat them in a small restaurant in a small town. The crispy ducks are good and the thai foods are recommended. The tofu is a little bit salty but not sure if it is the authentic taste. The sushi is normal.
