Wallby Säteri — Restaurant in Vetlanda kommun

Wallby Säteri is set in an exceptionally picturesque landscape, ideal for long walks—especially if you’re travelling with a dog. The surroundings are peaceful, inviting visitors to slow down and truly unwind. We would highly recommend staying at least two nights to fully take in the calm and natural beauty of the area.

Breakfast was generous and well-stocked, and both of the three-course dinners we enjoyed were of high quality. A particular highlight was the possibility of a vegan alternative, which was not only available, but also for the most part skilfully prepared—an appreciated detail.

The service was relaxed and informal, which suited the setting perfectly. We stayed in Båtmanstugan, which, contrary to what we initially thought, is not a standalone cottage but adjoined to Brunnstugan. One downside of the stay was the cold nights; despite a small heater being provided, it remained chilly.

Do we recommend Wallby Säteri? Definitely. Was it good value for money? Not at all —but not everything has to be. It was still a lovely...

Magnus and his staff were truly amazing. Our stay was very memorable one of the best holidays we have had.

The cabins are beautiful, very rustic and charming. They are clean and well appointed and the beds are super comfortable.

The dining experience was so well executed and the wine pairing was of a very high standard. The breakfast buffet has lots of choices and was very fresh and inviting.

If you are looking for a relaxed and effortless resort experience then this is it.

The grounds and buildings are full of Swedish history and you can tour the main house (manor).

Rooms are located in modern and well equipped cabins on the property. |Beds are excellent, bathroom is nice.
