11/10 experience – absolutely blew us away. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the team and immediately felt at home. There’s a real sense of pride and professionalism running through everything here — not just in the food, but in the way the entire place is operated.
I ordered the carbonara, and I genuinely think it was the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly al dente pasta, rich and creamy sauce without being heavy, and the balance of flavours was just spot on. It was one of those dishes where you pause between bites just to appreciate how good it actually is. My wife had the pancetta tortellini, and she couldn’t stop talking about it — beautiful presentation, packed with flavour, and the pasta was clearly handmade and incredibly fresh.
We finished the meal by sharing a tiramisu, and it was nothing short of perfection. Light, airy, and balanced with just the right touch of sweetness. The mascarpone was silky and smooth, the sponge had been soaked just enough to give it depth without being soggy, and the dusting of cocoa added that perfect final note. It was everything a proper tiramisu should be — delicate yet rich, and deceptively simple while expertly executed.
What really stood out to both of us was the quality of the ingredients. Everything tasted fresh and carefully sourced. You can tell there’s nothing mass-produced or rushed here — every element on the plate had purpose and care behind it. And considering the high-end quality of the dishes, the price was incredibly fair. In fact, I’d say we’ve paid far more elsewhere and had far less impressive meals.
The staff were outstanding. Every single person we interacted with was polite, attentive, and clearly trained to a high standard. To make things even easier for us as travellers from the UK, every member of staff spoke English, which made the experience even more comfortable and enjoyable. It’s a little thing that made a big difference, especially when asking questions about the menu or chatting with the team.
One of the highlights was speaking with the owner, who took a genuine interest in our road trip across Europe. He was warm, passionate, and clearly runs this place with pride. Having worked in the catering industry myself, I could see just how well he managed his staff — hands-on, observant, and leading by example. He wasn't just floating around; he was actively involved, ensuring guests were enjoying themselves and stepping in where needed. You can really feel when a restaurant is run by someone who cares, and this was one of those places.
We sat outside and the atmosphere was perfect — relaxed but buzzing, beautifully laid out, and clearly popular with both locals and travellers. The space gives everyone enough room to breathe, and the ambiance is welcoming without being overly formal.
Honestly, it’s rare to come across a place that nails everything: incredible food, excellent service, a warm, welcoming vibe, and real passion behind it. We travelled all the way from the UK and stumbled across this gem — and now, we’d happily make the journey again just to come back.
If you're anywhere near, make sure this place is on your list. You won’t be disappointed — it’s a standout experience and easily one of the best meals we’ve had...

Now, the food… absolutely incredible. Easily the best pasta I’ve ever had. I ordered the pancetta tortellini – it was fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavour. The crispy pancetta on top added just the right amount of saltiness and texture. My husband had the carbonara, which was done properly – rich, creamy, and authentic. We ended with a fresh, delicious tiramisu that rounded off the meal beautifully.
Honestly, our only regret is that we live too far away to come more often! But we’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Switzerland. Highly,...
Read moreI was driving from Zurich to Milan and wanted to stop by somewhere on the way for lunch.
This restaurant popped up right on the way and it was slightly above average.
Food was tasty, nothing wrong but not super special. I got a margarita pizza and my friend got a veal with blue cheese cream sauce and tomato soup.
The tomato soup was a nice starter to kick off our appetite. Pizza was not bad (they had a nice looking oven) and the veal was nice and tender and very cheesy sauce but super filling! We definitely overate for lunch and had to drive another 4 hours.
Service was good but there were a bunch of flies. It got really annoying to have to keep the flies away from eating our lunch, and the restaurant was indoors so I don't think I'm asking for too much to not...
