Terrible service. 2 of our 3 plates were the wrong order and we asked for the check several times - with a crying toddler and crying baby who were both late for their naps at this point - and after 25 minutes I just left 100 francs on the counter and walked away.

Food was okay, standard Swiss fare. Views were good, but not the best Mattstock...

It took more than an hour to prepare food and we considered to go away.

Do not seat inside. The door to the restroom makes so big noise that you tired...

Food was good but we paid more for the drinks than what was on the menu - bit dodgy for tourists. Food was also very over priced and we asked for a rosti but got fries instead. Views and atmosphere was great though.

Ein gemütliches Alprestaurant, wo man eine schönen Aussicht auf die Alpen geniessen kann. Ideal um sich vor einer Wanderung stärken oder danach zu regenerieren. Im Alpstübli wird man sehr freundlich bedient. Die Karte bietet vor allem eine Auswahl an, in der Fleisch im Mittelpunkt steht. Das Essen war sehr lecker und die speziellen Haus - Kaffees sind empfehlenswert. Das Lokal ist ab der Sessellift - Bergstation in ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuss erreibar.

Wir sind dem Herbstnebel entflohen und mit der Sesselbahn hinauf. Von der Bergstation waren wir in 10 min beim Alpstübli. Wir wurden nett empfangen und der Service war gut. Die Aussicht auf die Glaner Alpen haben wir bei einem Strichbode Plättli genossen. Das Plättli war sehr lecker und auch der Preis ist ok. Anschliessend ging es zu Fuss gut 1h zurück nach Amden. Wir werden nächstes Jahr sicher wieder einmal im Strichbode einkehren.
