Restaurant Schliessi — Restaurant in Basel

I recently visited Schliessi with two friends and their little boy. Despite the beautiful view at the restaurant, our experience was far from pleasant. The waitress who approached us was incredibly rude and treated us very badly.

From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the waitress had a bad attitude. When we asked for recommendations, she brushed us off and seemed annoyed that we were asking questions. We left the restaurant feeling upset and disappointed.

Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. While the view is beautiful, the terrible service we received from the waitress ruined our experience. If you're looking for a pleasant dining experience in Lange Erlen, I would suggest...

Amazing experience, a restaurant in the woods, by the flowing river, in a clear starry night with all the warming fires outside. You need to sit outside even if it's a bit chilly, you need to taste the Metzgete choice of sausages, you need to try their amazing Ueli Swiss beer and you need to be handled by the very friendly and lovely staff as the king of the night. I repeat that this restaurant offers an amazing customer experience and that not only because of the food. One tip.
