We celebrated a close friend’s birthday with dinner at the restaurant.|At first, we’ve got greetings from the kitchen – a tartar from artichokes and tomatoes with a crispy rice chip of red root and tomato.|As starters we had a traditional “Solothurner Wine Soup” and fresh salade with roasted kernel|The main courses of three of us where Zurich ragout with mushrooms and homemade Rosti, Schnitzel with French fries and fresh vegetable, char with rice and asparagus and fresh white and green asparagus covered with a cheese gratin.|All in all, the dishes were delicious and well portioned. |The phots are in particulare order as told in my text.||If you would like to experience this lovely place don’t hesitate, just book a table and enjoy a fine dining or lunch.|Just in case you don’t want to drive - they have six wonderful hotel rooms. Very clean and comfy rooms, welcoming and very friendly staff, and very good food. The views are beautiful, its a shame we were there when its cold, they have a big swimming pool.
