Cozy place with a great view of the valley below. The special house burger is very nice. The burger is spicy which is very nice since I enjoy hot food. Sadly the salad that comes with it could use a little extra kick to keep up with the burger. But who needs salad when you have a burger like that!
The cordon-bleu is also very good. The "spicy" cheese and bacon chosen for this were chosen very well. The fries are home made and very tasty.
What's to be mentioned is that the ingredients for the food are local. The waitstaff knows from which farms the animals came from and the cheese is from local cheeseries. Plus they are very friendly. Definately...

Ormai a Buchs ci vado mensilmente per sottopormi alla seduta dal mio chiropratico e per fare il punto con il mio allenatore. Proprio quest’ultimo, qualche mese fa mi ha fatto scoprire questo fantastico locale! Alle nostre latitudini non ce ne sono… Sia l’ambiente che la cucina sono curati nei minimi dettagli. Il locale è volutamente un mix fra il moderno e i locali della casa centenaria del Buchserberg. L’attaccamento al territorio non lo si vede unicamente dai piatti e dal menù scritto in “dialetto”, ma anche dalla priorità che viene data agli ingredienti “Km 0”: da frutta e verdura comprata direttamente dall’agricoltore, così come le carni dai contadini che hanno a cuore il benessere dei loro animali. Dulcis in fundo, anche le bevande, inclusa pure la “Coca Cola” e il caffè, sono regionali! Ciò non esclude che si possano mangiare pure piatti “esotici”, come la zuppa di lenticchie che ho gustato l’ultima volta, prima del piatto di “Hacktätschli” (in italiano lo tradurremo erroneamente con un semplice “hamburger”), accompagnato da uno strepitoso puré e da verdure scottate, che componevano il menù del giorno.
