Although this is a restaurant which is generally full, the waiter was nice enough to give me a nice corner. I ordered plat du jour as I thought I might not have much time to think on the menu. Well, it was delicious. I also ordered the entree which was amazing. I chose a glass of chasselass sec to company. It was at the ideal temparature, it had a very balanced taste, honestly made my day! The atmosphere is quite unique, with all the antique furniture and setting. The espresso was one of the most generously and tasty filled espresso I had in Switzerland. From the amuse bouche onwards the meal was delicious: I had a very nice foie gras with toast (and a really interesting chutney, nice touch), then a duck confit which was very flavorful, then I stuffed myself with a cheese platter AND dessert, which I both enjoyed very much. The fillet de perche is good, but it is cooked in way too much butter, so it comes drenched in butter - Anything cooked with that much butter will be tasty, so I would not recommend this restaurant for anyone who is health conscious.
