Ristorante Grotto Paradiso — Restaurant in Castaneda

We were hosted by Priscilla (the house chef) and her mother for lunch and she recommended a wonderful petite risotto degustation menu alongside other dishes. This is a gem find and Priscilla cooks with passion & inspiration with food sourced from the local village.

Lovely family run restaurant. Risottos are a house specialty and they are all fantastic, hidden away form the touristic areas. Highly recommend to explore the area hiking and make a strop there to eat a fantastic meal in the quiet beautiful village...

La mia recensione é per il Grotto Paradiso gestito da Priscilla! Sono stata qui a cena con un’amica e ho trovato un ambiente conviviale e personale molto gentile. Ho mangiato davvero bene iniziando con un tagliere di prodotti locali (affettati e formaggi, miele) che ho trovato eccellenti! In seguito degustazione di risotti: fantasiosi, ben preparati e presentati. L’ambiente é “alla buona”, non c’è un menù ma viene proposto quello che hanno in base alla spesa e disponibilità dei prodotti..e trovo che sia proprio questo il bello dell’esperienza. Nelle zone circostanti al grotto c’è tanto verde e possibilità di passeggiate e giri in bici. Sono contenta di aver scoperto questo posticino e...
