Overall good experience but there are a few things to improve. The dinner started extremely well in a 5 stars rating. The service was very friendly and smiling and the starters (salade d'aubergines and soupe du jour) well excellent. The pasta stuffed with goat cheese are outstanding. The pasta with mozzarella, olives, capers and cherry tomatoes are good but clearly below in terms of taste. The suprême de poulet is not a suprême but a mere escalope. It was fine and the sauce was good. The wine was good too. The bread is clearly the worst part for me: in a French speaking area, I expect way, way better. The tiramisu was good. Finally, the menu is suspiciously long, even if you cut out the pizzas. This generally indicates bit everything is homemade but well if the taste is here, maybe that's not a problem after all.

Das Lokal ist klein aber fein. Die Bedienung war etwas durch den Wind. Wir fragten für Cocktail Sauce. Die Antwort war, dass es dies nicht gebe und wir Mayo und Ketchup selber mischen müssen. Danach haben am Tisch nebenan Leute Fondue Chinois gegessen. Und sehe da, denen wurde Cocktail Sauce serviert. Das Essen war sehr lecker.

Au Relais Restaurant in Château-d'Oex offers unbeatable value and flavor.

I enjoyed a satisfying pizza and salad combo paired with a fantastic alcohol-free beer.

It's the village's most budget-friendly option, yet the taste is exceptional.

Urchiges Restaurant mit guter Pizza und eigentlich (etwas später) freundlicher Bedienung. Letztere hatte aber etwas Anlaufschwierigkeiten. Wir (2 Personen) wollten um 17:15 eine Pizza bestellen - warme Küche gibt es aber erst um halb 6, so die Ansage der Bedienung. Gleichzeitig verliess aber eine Person mit 2 Pizza-Schachteln das Lokal 😳🤨 Auch durften wir nicht an den für 4 Personen gedeckten Tisch am Fenster - bei praktisch leerem Lokal - der uns eigentlich zugesagt hätte. Bis wir bestellt, gegessen, Dessert, Kaffee und Wein konumiert hatten blieb dieser Tisch leer 😧 Genau so geht „Schweiz“. Gibt scheinbar immer noch Gastronomen, die noch nicht begriffen haben, dass Gastro von Gast kommt! Einfach nur traurig bei uns und in solch touristischen Orten noch...
