Ristorante Easy — Restaurant in Circolo dell'Isole

I sat down at 9:20 pm in August, a pleasant evening with lots of people around. I asked the menu card, and the waiter answer was, oh no only pizza available. Seriously? We are in the middle of the tourist season. So I decided that pizza is a no go. If I go to a restaurant I want to eat a dish cooked by a chef. Ok, having said that, I ask if I can at least have an ice cream, the answer was, yes to get up and get one. I thought they were giving me the ice cream menu to choose a coupe, but no, he gave me just two options if I wanted. Honestly I was about to get up and leave. We are in Ascona, famous little town, is it possible to be treated like a rag, even though you are friendly and patient? Really pitty, cause it was not the first time I visited Seven Restaurants. I would look at your internal policies, meal times and...

I ate here with my boyfriend, the atmosphere is relaxing and cozy even with a full house. The food was truly excellent, the best burger I had in quite some time, bun was very good quality Brioche style, the meat was tasty and perfectly cooked. The restaurant was busy but the food arrived very hot and in not so much time, compliments to the chef. Also the staff was very friendly and efficient, we had to wait 10 min when we arrived (was peak time on Friday night) but then our table was ready quickly, communication was great. Also we were sitting near the pizzaiolo, the pizzas coming straight out of the wood-fire oven looked so good... I'm definitely coming back...

Been there a couple of times. I love their interiors, food was always good and usually serving staff is really nice. Tonight I brought my family out for dinner and the two attendants dressed in black at the entrance would not even bother to say hello and welcome us. They were too busy trying to accomodate another family, which is totally fine, but at least they could have greeted us and told us "hey hi just a min we'll be back..". Some other guests came and left, just as we did, since nobody would care for several minutes. I quickly complained with a waiter who was super nice and tried to accomodate us but...
