Ristorante Isole di Brissago — Restaurant in Circolo dell'Isole

Nice spot, bad service. We (2 people) were visiting the island, and wanted to get a snack and drink before taking the boat back. We ask a waiter if we can sit at a free table, he tells us “no because it’s reserved for hotel guests”, and that we should “go ask another waiter over there”. Ok. As soon as we turn, a group of 4 (also not hotel guests) ask if the same table is free, and he proceeds to seat them at it. Ok. We finally find another table, wait for 20 mins without a waiter coming to take our order. We decide to leave. My advice, byob, there are a lot of great seating spots with a view...

The restaurant has no competition.

Because there is no competition on quality, the plain white bread you get for free was genuinely the best thing we ate :(

Also, because there is no competition, the prices are more like fancy restaurant prices. Although I do understand running costs on the island might also be high, and those would need to be covered.

It is on a beautiful island however, so the ambience was excellent

The service was "fine", the staff were nice, but run off their feet, they need more staff for the business of the restaurant, at least...

Letzte Woche hatten wir das Vergnügen, das Ristorante Isole di Brissago zu besuchen und waren von der Qualität des Essens sowie dem exklusiven Ambiente beeindruckt. Die Atmosphäre bei Betreten des Restaurants war wunderbar und wir waren gespannt auf ein kulinarisches Erlebnis. Allerdings müssen wir auch einige weniger positive Punkte in Bezug auf den Service erwähnen. Trotz der geringen Gästezahl war die Wartezeit bis zur Bestellannahme ungewöhnlich lang. Wir mussten mehrmals nachfragen, bis der Kellner endlich unsere Bestellung aufnahm, was unsere Vorfreude etwas trübte. Leider wurde unsere Vorfreude weiter getrübt, als unsere Mahlzeiten serviert wurden und das Besteck fehlte. Wir mussten erneut den Kellner darauf aufmerksam machen. Noch ärgerlicher war, dass der Kellner zunächst versuchte, am Nachbartisch abzukassieren, anstatt sich um unser fehlendes Besteck zu kümmern. Diese unprofessionelle Handlung passte nicht zum Gesamteindruck des Restaurants. Ein weiteres Problem war, dass unbenutzte Gläser von einem Tisch einfach auf einen noch nicht benutzten Tisch gestellt wurden, was die angenehme Atmosphäre trübte. Trotz dieser negativen Aspekte möchten wir betonen, dass das Essen in diesem Restaurant wirklich hervorragend ist und es großes Potenzial hat. Mit Verbesserungen im Kundenservice könnte das Ristorante Isole di Brissago ein wirklich erstklassiges Erlebnis bieten. Wir hoffen, dass das Restaurant zukünftig an diesen...
