Grotto Lafranchi — Restaurant in Circolo della Maggia

The place itself looks nice with Pergolas etc. but unfortunately there are a lot of flys around, also kids where playing football in the restaurant shooting balls against the wall etc. All of this would have been fine if the food would have been either good or cheap and fast, in fact we waited 1h for our Risotto and Ravioli, which were very basic, the gorgonzola risotto does not taste at all like gorgonzola and the ravioli came without anything, we paid 60chf (with salat water and housewine) The additional Star is for the housewine 3chf and it...

We had such an amazing experience our waitress was delightful and we got a huge “sampler” type meal. The chef was so so accommodating and allowed to try all our their best dishes. I wish I remembered the name of some of the dishes! Their house tiramisu at the end of the meal...

Quando ho chiesto il dessert mi hanno raccomandato il loro Tiramisù fatto in casa… perché alla seconda cucchiaiata ho sentito in bocca una cosa strana , era un grosso pezzo di VETRO!!.. credo aver rischiato molto!! E loro si sono serenamente scusati e mi hanno PORTATO IL CONTO!! Pure salato!.. credo che il minimo sarebbe stato offrire la cena e pregarmi di non denunciare IL GRAVE INCIDENTE!..per evitare di farmi del male davvero meglio cancellare questo posto...
