Hotel was closed when we arrived at 16:00. There was a note to call the owner. Nobody answered and the alternative number was invalid. After trying again 10 minutes later the call was answered and the owner arrived shortly after to check-us in. ||The restaurant closed early and you couldn't enter with your room key: the after hours entrance is round the back but you have to search for it.||We were woken in the middle of the night by a staff member unlocking our door and trying to enter the room. Realising there was someone there he quickly disappeared. Sadly he was not present the next morning and the language barrier meant this point could not be discussed.||Breakfast minimal. The modern bathroom was the best bit...

I arrived here quite late (10 PM), after finding out that the Gotthard tunnel was closed, and after reserving online few minutes before...||||The door was closed but luckily there was the phone number of the owner written outside. He immediately arrived to open the door and let me check in. He was very polite and he showed me the reserved parking (fundamental to avoid a fine !)||||The room was nice, even if the toilet was extremely small. The breakfast was small but good.||||Overall? I really liked the service and I would absolutely consider this place again if needing a place to sleep for 1 or 2 nights... probably not...
