Grotto Pippo — Restaurant in Circolo della Riviera

We found the place on google maps as we wanted to have a break away from the motorway. The place is magical. The lady was very nice and checked if still need something couple of times altough it was difficult for us to undestand each other. We would like to go back soon and try something else...

Ambiente sehr herzig aber man könnte noch verbessern. Essen war enttäuschend. Tessiner Polente, wie man Sie eigentlich kennt war zu viel Käse und zu salzig,angerichtet langweilig. Fleisch hat nicht geschmeckt und war zäh,trocken. Salatsauce bestand nur aus Rotweinessig geht gar nicht. Desserts herzig aber lieber nichts als so süss mit einem tupf Rahm. Mein Partner als gelernter Koch von einem edel Hotel Dolder in Zürich sagte zu mir, Lieber Tessiner Spezialitäten anbieten, wie ein Bocolino Merlot, oder gute Fleischwurstplatte guter Käse vom Tessin das wäre genau das richte für so ein niedliches Grotto. Schade...
