This ristorante truely "rised like phoenix from the ashes"!!! 🌋 It used to be a good place long time ago. Then owners changed and the place was a mere disaster.

But now there are NEW owners and they really know how to spoil their guests and make them happy! 😍 From the moment we stepped our feet in the cozy ambience until we left, we experienced friendless and a very professional service.

We had a table reserved - it was lovely 🥰. We ordered as a starter a cut meat and cheese plate in large (not the one for four people). It was sooo big! Enough to share with friends.

On Google and TripAdvisor the 1 kilogram (!!!!) Cordon Bleu was praised a lot . So we had to go for this one. My husband and I shared it . Our friend took the 500 gram one. His girlfriend went for sliced beef. We all were soooo content with our food. Oh, and the wine was just another dream!

Despite the Cordon Bleu was made of pork which I usually don't like, it was delicious! No porky taste and the animals are raised somewhere in the area.

Another plus the guests were all mixed with tourists and Swiss Italians from the area. That's really a good sign.

The portions were big and so filling, we had to take some home, but we couldn't resist trying the Tiramisu. And that was such a win! It's one of the best Tiramisù we ever tasted! Our friend even thinks it's the world best.

The pizza was delicious and the staff was very friendly, but the owner “Domenico” was the one that made us never want to go back again.

He was, to our surprise, very rude.. I was actually shocked to find out that he was the owner.. The rest of the staff was treating the guests well.. but the owner himself just couldn’t even smile, couldn’t look us in the eyes, couldn’t even try to being fake nice, until he was very pushy about us having to give him a 5 star...

Asked politely if they spoke English. Immediately got slurred and laughed at in Italian assuming that I didn’t understand what they said. Asked politely in Spanish and got the same response. Ordered a beer and water in German (the other language on their menu) and only got the beer. The beer was fine but god forbid you’re not Italian…in Switzerland. Pizza was mid. Location is convenient. Would not recommend unless you’re local. Terrible last...

ENGLISH: Good food, personally I prefer more cheese in the cordon bleu, although it was still good, the pork breading a little too thin, it would be more pleasant to feel the meat rather than the breading, risotto good and also the Venetian style liver, overall a good restaurant to eat in company, approved 👍🏻. GERMAN: Gutes Essen, ich persönlich bevorzuge mehr Käse im Cordon Bleu, obwohl es immer noch gut war, das Schweinefleisch Panade ein wenig zu dünn, wäre es schöner, das Fleisch zu fühlen, anstatt die Panade, Risotto gut und auch die venezianische Art Leber, insgesamt ein gutes Restaurant zu essen in Gesellschaft, genehmigt 👍🏻. ITALIAN: Cibo buono, personalmente preferisco più formaggio nel cordon bleu, anche se era comunque buono, l’impanata di maiale un po’ troppo sottile, sarebbe più piacevole sentire la carne piuttosto che l’impanatura, risotto buono e anche il fegato alla veneziana, nel complesso un buon ristorante dove mangiare in compagnia, approvato 👍🏻. FRANCAIS: Bonne nourriture, personnellement je préfère plus de fromage dans le cordon bleu, bien qu'il soit encore bon, la panure du porc un peu trop fine, il serait plus agréable de sentir la viande plutôt que la panure, le risotto est bon ainsi que le foie à la vénitienne, dans l'ensemble un bon restaurant pour manger en compagnie, approuvé 👍🏻.

Zur Vorspeise hatten wir Bruschetta (6 Stück für 14 CHF – toller Preis!). Leider hat uns der Geschmack nicht ganz überzeugt. Das Brot war recht dick geschnitten und der Belag entwas ungewöhnlich, was nicht ganz dem typischen Bruschetta-Erlebnis entspricht. Die Pizza dagegen war wirklich mega lecker! Der Teig dünn, der Rand angenehm knusprig – genau so, wie man’s sich wünscht. Ein kleiner Minuspunkt war allerdings, dass der Burrata kalt auf die heiße Pizza gelegt wurde – das passt geschmacklich leider nicht so gut und ist auch für den Gaumen nicht angenehm. Der Service war durchweg freundlich und aufmerksam, die Getränkekarte gut sortiert. Alles in allem ein schöner Abend mit leckerer Pizza und gutem Service – einen Stern Abzug gibt’s für das Bruschetta und den kalten Burrata. Fazit: 4 von 5 Sternen – wir kommen gerne wieder, aber mit etwas anderen Vorspeisen 😉
