Maybe we were there when staff had a bad hair day but it took quite some time before our order was taken. When we finally got our meal another disappointment: smallest, uncreative salad ever! In short: overpriced and overrated. Not surprised to see people arrive, look at the menu and leave... Only fun fact is that the toilets are in the Excalibur discobar next door.

Very close to highway convenience stop for a good lunch while. Cozy and characteristics rooms with a nice fireplace. Rich menu with a good selection of local recipes. Very friendly staff. Price on average for Switzerland but aligned with the food quality. Spaces are a bit narrow thus could be a bit uncomfortable for wheelchairs.

Immer wieder ein Genuss und wirklich die beste Gelegenheit den Gotthard Stau in gemütlicher Atmosphäre zu verbringen. Der Kamin ist angefeuert im einfachen Gastraum und lädt zum Slowdown ein. Die Vorspeisen Platte ist mit regionalen Köstlichkeiten belegt, Risotto Milanese oder Porcini sind perfekt und als Abschluss ein klassisches Zabaione mit Vanille Glacé mit Espresso. Ein feiner SassiGrossi Wein und der Abend ist gerettet. Wir kommen sehr gerne immer wieder.

Meine Partnerin hat Gnocchi bestellt. Der Kellner, der wahrscheinlich auch Besitzer ist, hat das auf seinem Zettel auch so aufgeschrieben. Ich habe das Tagesmenu bestellt. Lasagne mit Salat. Plötzlich kam dem Kellner in den Sinn, Gnocchi sind ausverkauft, sie solle doch auch Lasagne nehmen. Bisschen überrascht tat sie dann das auch. Wahrscheinlich wollte er einfach noch seine Lasagne verkaufen. Salat zum Menu ist nie gekommen. Lasagne war alles andere als gut. Sehr viel Pasta, nur wenig Sauce und noch weniger Fleisch. Also eigentlich nur ein...
