After being out all day, we we looking for some quick good food (always a challenge) other than sausage and fries… being a true foodie. Searching restaurants while on route, I found restaurant Red, which had lots of seafood dishes… in Ticino? The pictures didn’t look attractive from google map’s and how could seafood be fresh here? As my hubby was tired of my research, we went for it. What a pleasant surprise! When we entered there was someone making real pizzas and the offerings of the day was Gamberi crudi (raw scrimps) in two varieties, which made my heart beat faster. We ordered mozzarella which was one of the freshest buffalo mozzarella that I tasted, outside Italy. Lovely pasta dishes, too and mine was pasta, Maltagliati with seafood ragout, which was really nice, if you are into creamy sauces. I’m sure they have a good and fresh daily choice often. Pesce freschissimo, grande attenzione ai sapori e profumi. Consigliamo di provare le paste fatte in casa con i sughi di pesce dello chef, fritto misto, antipasti e così via , praticamente ogni volta bisogna assaggiare una nuova pietanza del magnifico menù 😀 Ottima selezione di vini.
