The location is in the middle of nature. Very nice place!||We went to this place because we had a smart box which allowed us to have:||- one night in the hotel||- little breakfast Buffet||- a Terroir dinner with 3 courses (drinks excluded)||- welcome aperitif||- little homage in the room||- free access to the swimming pool||The reception at the arrival is very nice, the staff is friendly.||The rooms are very simple but clean. I would expect something better for a 3-star hotel in Ticino. The wall of the rooms are not really sound-proof, so you practically hear your neighbor, which fortunately were quiet. No sheets on the bed, just mattress-cover and duvet (maybe seasonal). ||The restaurant is comfortable. The food is very good, we really appreciated it. We are a little disappointed about the restaurant service. We waited around 15 minutes before someone asked us what we would like to drink, despite the fact that the restaurant was half empty. The overall service at the restaurant was very slow for our table, maybe because we were labelled as "smart-box" dinner, which is not very professional to my mind. Beautiful location but no lifts to the rooms. Rooms are very big but bed was okay and pillows were very thin and not comfortable. The power saving policy of the hotel stretched too far. No automatic sensors to sense the presence of people, therefore the lights went off, before we could even reach our room. The lights going off so fast and we having to manually switch it on was a bit of an inconvenience. The view was very good and the fruits served in the breakfast were just outstanding. Service was nil as we had to carry out own luggage and there was no pillow for our child. Even though we asked for an extra pillow, they never gave us one. The worst thing about the hotel was that they had mentioned extn no. 200 as the no. for reception. When we called this number for a pillow, the person who picked the phone shouted that it was the number of the GM and one shouldn't call it. This was terrible as they themselves have that number written as the number for the reception. So if u are loooking for service, do not even venture near...
