A nice restaurant with excellent service from friendly waiters. We had reserved in advance for a party of six vegetarians and informed the restaurant. They have on their menu some vegetarian dishes but in addition we were also offered some of their other menu items which could be served without fish or meat. We were also offered that they could prepare for us pasta dishes with pesto sauce. These options offered a quite positive beginning of the evening. As start i took their beetroot & cheese salad, which tasted delicious. Some other table guests ordered their tomato mozzarella starter which was less great as the mozzarella type used in that dish was quite chewy and spoiled the enjoyment. Also when charging more than chf 20 for a tomato mozzarella salad, one expects a great experience prepared with a top mozzarella cheese. The bread served with the starters was excellent and we very much enjoyed that. As second course i choose their risotto with lemon which dish was ok, but i found it a bit too sour. One other guest ordered a spagetti with pesto sauce dish. That serving was quite small and tasted not impressive. In addition also for that simple, small portion, dish far too much charged. When asking for the bill we were surprised that the dishes we ordered, without the fish or meat parts, were been charged without any deduction in the price as those are the most expensive elements of a dish. We were told that instead we were given a larger portion.... ?? In conclusion, a nice restaurant in a great setting with really excellent waiter service. For vegetarians more needs to be done to provide exciting dishes that justify the full prices that are being charged.

The hidden gem outside of the busy streets of Geneva; We loved our experience! My husband and I enjoyed a long, lazy lunch on the beautiful outdoor terrace overlooking the park, it was a perfect backdrop for what turned out to be an exceptional dining experience! Our starter plates included tuna tataki and beef tartare on freshly baked ficocca bread, yum for pure flavour perfection! The al dente pasta with tender langoustines was silky and indulgent, while the crispy Milanese veal with golden potatoes and peppery rocket was heaven for comfort food. Dessert was a showstopper: a cloud-like tiramisù dusted in cocoa and a rich chocolate dome paired with fresh strawberries, almost too pretty to eat (almost!). Our meal was perfectly paired with outstanding wines, introduced with charm and humour by the Collonge Cafe team. Their warmth, attentiveness, and passion for what they do made us feel truly spoiled. Thank you, Collonge Cafe, for a memorable afternoon of exquisite flavours, beautiful surroundings, and joyful service. We can’t wait to return!

Five star place, amazing host Christopher and excellent Italian chef Daniel with world of experience. Tried surprise menu which was world class. Excellent starters prepared with best produce & meats followed by an outstanding Swiss beef. Very classic wine collection to pick from. Great ambiance and great hospitality experience. A must try place for all kind of formal or causal dining. Made my day. Highly recommended.

Location is nice, food is really average and expensive. Service low average and very child unfriendly. Unfortunately we come from time to time because very few/no alternatives close by. We came with and without our child, the service is never fast and waiters never friendly, although we are local , and live in the village and Swiss. Once we had been totally forgotten and were waiting for drinks for 40 Minutes while the restaurant was almost empty, another time out baby dropped a dessert on the floor (and we apologised profoundly) and then next time we came we were literally told off and asked to behave « better ». We left a very very generous tip and waiter looked at us with almost a disgust like « how dare you still come ». It stands to reason that food is really not high standard and very often main dish is really not good and dessert there is nothing to choose from, especially considering value for money. I find it very sad , because this setting could be put to much better use. All our neighbours and friends from neighbourhood agree that place is not up to standard and had low quality of food and high prices , bad service, but there are lot many places in the vicinity, so people...
