Unfortunately, the quality and service level is not as used to be (customer for more than 15 years). The staff does not smile, seems unhappy, and this reflects to the service. During the last summers, the store is full of flies, even inside the protective glass, and it becomes disgusting. When I made a remark on why they don't protect the products from the flies, they looked at me angry, like why I bother them, like I was alien; they don't care. Also, the staff is not using protective gloves, touching the cakes with bare hands and then the money and the counter. I seriously question their hygiene approach. This is a wonderful cake and bread shop, where people really do cross international borders to access. In association with Martel they offer delicious and authentic tarts and pastries from various fruits as well as savoury fillings in their quiches. High quality croissant and tasty mini sandwiches, including chicken, salmon, tuna, mozarella etc, provide a broad spectrum to meet all tastes and then the cakes and sweet tarts are really the final word. Je dois dire que je suis mitigé ... du très bon et du médiocre. Boulangerie : rien à redire, la qualité est là, tout est très bien. Pâtisserie : malgré la bonne qualité de leur produits, c'est au niveau communication / personnel que la bât blesse. Nous avons expérimenté plusieurs déconvenues ; Gâteau pour les 25 ans de notre fille n'était pas celui commandé !!! On a été avisé le matin mais trop tard pour en commander un autre. Et en plus, c'était une bûche ... une bûche pour des 25 ans, pas très glamour. Plusieurs plaquettes "Joyeux anniversaire ..." ont mal été orthographiées, voir tout simplement oubliée. Je trouve dommage que ces 2 points viennent entacher la notoriété du Panetier, car les gens sont très bien. Mais au vu de nos mésaventures avec eux, il est clair que nous ne conseillons aucunement...
