Restaurant l'Ours — Restaurant in Cudrefin

I had lunch in this restaurant today Sunday, before doing some bird "shooting" in the nearby nature reserve at the easternmost shores of the Neuchâtel lake. The palm-trees embracing the entrance should have made me suspicious but since I had reserved by telephone from my car I buried my feelings and entered. The decoration leaves a lot to be desired and the owners should definitely refurbish their chairs, that are loosing their cover. Food is OK with Estonian filets of perch that are decently priced for a Sunday lunch whereas most of the meat dishes are overpriced. I had a rather bland beet root colored gorgonzola risotto and a glass of really good Petite Arvine white wine served by a kind and efficient staff. The selection of wine by the glass is...

Katastrophe…

War dort zu Mittagessen. Habe ein Panache bestellt und da waren irgendwelche Dreckstücke drinnen. Ok, kann ja mal passieren. Wurde von der Bedienung ersetzt und nach dem 3. mal war es dann sauber.

Hatte eine Pizza Prosciutto e Funghi bestellt und diese kam mit einem METALLTEIL von der Reinigungsbürste drin geliefert. Die Pizza wurde sofort zurückgenommen und ich bekam eine neue, doch diese wurde wohl Stressbedingt, schnell schnell zusammengebastelt und schmeckte einfach nur beschi**en. Sie war auch nicht ganz durch, was sich dann am Abend durch Bauchschmerzen bestätigte.

Was mich aber richtig nervt, beim bezahlen habe ich die Bedienung nochmals auf meine Probleme hingewiesen, musste aber trotzdem den vollen...

Bon restaurant bien situé avec tonnelle et jolie terrasse avec vue sur la plage de Cudrefin et le lac de Neuchâtel. Bons plats divers et variés pour les différents types de palais, pizzas à l'emporter également, pour ma part les pizzas sont belles et grandes mais la pâte reste plutôt fine et manquent malheureusement de saveurs, la pizza aux fruits de mer n'était pas ce que j'attendais et malheureusement garnie de beaucoup de calamars difficiles à mâcher mais dans l'ensemble cela reste un bon restaurant bien achalandé et le personnel est accueillant et sympathique, très proche de l'arrêt de bus du centre du village et de places de parking ainsi que sa jolie plage.
