Fuxägufer — Restaurant in Davos

Fuxagufer has a lot going for it—excellent food, stylish house music, and a cozy, inviting atmosphere that makes for a great lunch out. The combination of great flavors and a well-curated soundtrack creates a vibe that feels effortlessly cool, relaxed, yet authentic.

Unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired. While the staff was friendly, the execution was chaotic. Our table was served in waves—half of us got our food, then the other half, and drinks only arrived after we had already finished eating. One person was left waiting for their meal even longer, and another's dish was completely forgotten. It was honestly the first time I'd heard of a restaurant serving drinks after the food.

To make matters worse, we couldn’t even get enough cups for everyone to have water, and we had to fetch our own cutlery. These kinds of missteps really took away from what could have been a fantastic experience.

If they can work out the service issues, this place has serious potential. But until then, go for the music and food—just be ready to fend for yourself when it comes to...

Originally I posted a three star review below, before leaving the restaurant. Then the manager came over and pressurised me to either change to five stars or delete the review. Despite offering alternative desserts or drinks it was highly embarrassing, and I’ve never been made so humiliated in a restaurant ever. My friend with me was mortified by the whole ordeal.

After changing the review to 5 stars temporarily, we were brought two shots (but we don’t drink). We couldn’t get out of the restaurant soon enough.

The fries and bottled drinks we had were fine, but for the price and the fact we had to move outside because of the smell inside. I think the original review of three stars is probably valid for this place, the manager’s actions brought it don’t to just the 1 star. I hope they learn from this - update their online menu/ pictures and don’t try and pressure any more guests to get their five star reviews.

Best place for lunch in the whole Jakobshorn ski region. Had fondue and spätzli on two separate occasions. Both dishes were served quickly by friendly waiters that had everything under control. Props to them, especially with such a massive terrace. Fondue was awesome and the Käsespätzle were excellent too. We got lucky and got a spot on the terrace on Saturday, but I recommend reserving in advance because queues build up...
