Restaurant Ritz Gerschnialp — Restaurant in Engelberg

This place has so much to offer in such a resplendent & serene way. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this little gem in the Swiss Alps! The hosts (owners), Andreas & Christine Häcki are two lovely people (along with their adorable boys, Paul, Jonas & Lucas) who are both humble & gracious. The room was simple, clean & had everything I needed - including a fantastic view! The restaurant even had a terrific outside terrace area that could accommodate lots of people. The food was exquisite with its many choices to suit any diet. They even had wild meats available which I sampled. Amazing! The building itself has character & the grounds are a pleasure to walk around. Can’t say enough about this place. Highly recommend it...

We waited and waited for the waitress to bring the food we ordered for our children. We asked her several times, but it never came. She said that we just had to wait. But after an hour, and about 40 minutes after the adults‘ food, she still could not tell us where our food was. Very poor service. No time to be polite or take...
