Perfect location for exploring the Jura region and a 10 minutes drive to Neuchatel. The last room that night was a junior suite and it was very spacious. The choice of colors was a bit unusual, but didn't make the room less comfortable. Very quiet and good beds. We had dinner at the hotel, were we showed up late and still got a very tasty cold meal and a great local white wine. Perfect for a very hot day! We didn't have breakfast there, because we preferred to drive down to a lakeside cafe.||One point could have been improved on though...staff was unable to provide directions to Saint Ursanne and other destinations. We missed therefore the Chasseral turnoff just outside the village and lost...

Read morePerched 800 metres up above the lake of Neuchatel, this is a delightful tiny village. The hotel has been run by the same people for 38 years and it shows. A magnificent welcome and great help in booking a restaurant for us on an evening when the hotel was theoretically shut. Great breakfast and just such nice people to talk to.||||Yes, the accommodation is a bit old fashioned but that's really part of the charm; it's impeccably clean and things work. There's also plenty of parking space. Apparently there are chamois in the local quarry and the wild boar cause chaos to the greens on the golf course. ...
