B&B Hängebrigga — Restaurant in Ernen

I come here regularly to enjoy a coffee based beverage served with a home made biscuit. If the biscuit is not enough, you have to try the house made Nussstängel or the Blueberry pie. I am not exaggerating, it's the best pie there is. The Cafe is located across the suspension bridge. So you get to enjoy the scenic view first. Then you sit on the terrace and treat yourself with something delicious. All that while infusing the beauty of the surrounding mountains. Of course, don't forget to check out all the trophies...

We stayed for a weekend at the cosy b&b close to the famous bridge. It is perfectely placed to arrive by train and we were greeted ever so friendly by our hosts. The rooms are in an authentic wooden chalet and the interior keeps with the theme. At night the village is absolutely quiet and is perfect for watching the stars from the window.
