Welcome to la Sage, in french it means the responsible one...looking at the menu at Collines you know its going to be hard to hold yourself to it 😓

The master specialty is the locally raised beef from the breeder next door. If the Britany oysters in kiwi sauce and the fresh Peruvian inspired ceviche are good, the meat blows you away.

We started with the os-a-moelle covered in light crunchy onion flakes. They were a great match with the hot moelleux of the bone heart. I'm salivating again writing about it. It's delicious🤤

We moved on with the slow cooked beef ribs bathed in a flavorful herbed BBQ sauce 🍖. Yum. Just as good, especially when scooped up with the tasty puffy pomme dauphines.

To top it off we finished (the meats) with the slow cooked beef cheeks. Its unctuous double pressed truffle purée & tender meat was simply amazing. Trop bon.

Somehow, we found space for a shared "Coupe Collines" : home made vanilla & stracciatella ice cream covered in warm salted butter caramel 😋. It was so good we went for a second.

Wow what an experience! The restaurants is situated inside an adorable wooden maison, from the moment we entered we felt welcomed in this cozy and curated space. We went to celebrate my birthday and we had one of the most amazing meals in Switzerland, I’m not joking. I’ve been living in the area for 8 years and I find it hard to get good varied food, homemade, tasty and with good genuine ingredients. Restaurant Les Collines has gone above and beyond. The service was just impeccable and the energy of Maud and the staff and the passion they show throughout the whole service truly contributed in making this experience absolutely memorable. The food is very well presented and delicious. We had the slow cooker pork and the filet for main courses. We loved it so much that the next day we went again for a quick lunch (highly recommend the chefs fondue). Thank you for this great experience and we will certainly be...

Nous sommes venus à deux, sans réservation. Une jeune serveuse très sympathique nous a accueillis et installés avec le sourire, puis a pris nos boissons. Malheureusement, la suite a été moins agréable : la patronne est ensuite venue, de manière assez sèche et pressée, sans un sourire, nous informer que nous n’avions « pas le droit » à la grande carte, car nous n’avions pas réservé, et que nous devions choisir parmi une petite sélection énoncée à l’oral très rapidement. Cela manquait clairement de délicatesse.

Un peu plus tard, la même jeune femme est revenue nous présenter la grande carte sur un tableau, mais la patronne avait déjà décidé pour nous et notre commande avait été prise. Trop tard. Les burgers étaient très bons, rien à redire sur la cuisine. Mais l’accueil nous a laissé une impression désagréable, comme si notre présence dérangeait. Ce sentiment de traitement inégal entre les clients est dommage, surtout lorsqu’on n’est pas prévenu dès le départ.

Peut-être vaudrait-il mieux, dans ce cas, ne pas accepter plus de clients que ce que permet l’organisation. Le cadre est magnifique, mais pensez à réserver à l’avance pour ne pas avoir l’impression d’être des clients de seconde zone. Nous avons brièvement expliqué notre ressenti à la serveuse...
