When entering the restaurant you are directly welcomed with the delicious smell of freshly baked pizza. The service is very welcoming and friendly. Throughout the evening they remained so very kind and also funny. To the food: They have a great variety on the menu. I highly recommend the arancini with truffle - so good!! While on one side I was not so happy with my pesto pasta since it was too salty for my taste - however, nothing wrong with the quality and when i mentioned it, they absolutely understood and took the feedback very seriously and gratefully and offered a dessert on the house in the end. On the other side the seasonal primavera pasta was fantastic - such a smart and delicious mix of flavours i didn’t know before. Overall good experience with sometimes a bit of waiting for the next course. We’ll definitely be back - next on the list for tasting is the pizza because they looked...

Definitiv unser neuer Lieblingsitaliener in der Region.

Marcello hat das Restaurant Anfang Mai übernommen und man merkt seine Leidenschaft und seinen Geschmack in jedem Moment, den man im Ristorante Assagio verbringt.

Weder die Lage (direkt an der vielbefahrenen Hauptstrasse von Pfäffikon SZ nach Schindellegi) noch das Gebäude sind einladend, doch sowohl die Terrasse als auch der Gastraum sind mit so viel Geschmack eingerichtet, dass man alles rundherum vergessen und in bella Italia eintauchen kann.

Die Küche ist authentisch, frisch und von A-Z alles selbstgemacht.

Das Brot wird warm serviert mit Kirschsteinsack, so dass es auch nach mehreren Minuten noch warm und super schmackhaft ist. Ebenfalls gibt es noch ein "Probiererli" des wundervollen knusprigen Pizzateig mit etwas Kräutersalz und Olivenöl. Ein Gedicht.

Das Rindscarpaccio wurde vom sympathischen Wirt am Tisch abgeschmeckt und angerichtet, ein Augen- und Gaumenschmaus mit einer zusätzlichen Showeinlage. Die Monatskarte vom Juni entführt einem nach Sizilien und wir genossen davon eine wunderbare Zuppetta di moscardini (Pulpo in Tomatenragout). Eine Geschmacksexplosion.

Die Hauptgänge führten das hohe Niveau weiter. Hausgemachte Spaghetti mit Vongole und Gamberoni vom Grill (so gut haben wir sie in der Schweiz noch nie gehabt) mit sensationell abgeschmecktem Blattspinat.

Das Dessert dann der krönende Abschluss. Canolo und hausgemachter Tartufo... jede Sünde wert.

Marcello und der Kellner waren beide so herzlich und immer mit einem Lachen im Gesicht, man fühlte sich willkommen und wie bei Freunden.

Lovely italian restaurant with authentic delicious food made with passion and soul.

We had dinner here in November and loved the atmosphere inside. We balked at the basement setting at first(the restaurant is at the lower level of a hotel). But the decor, the open pizza oven and attention to detail quickly charmed us The owners and staff were welcoming and relaxed. We felt as if all the patrons were long time regulars or family. And so did we soon enough.
