Restaurant Zaika India — Restaurant in Freienbach

We visited this restaurant for my father in law’s birthday. The service was good as the staff attended to our needs very well.

I would rate the food average as one of the dish, being an Indian, I found spicy! The methi chicken tasted decent but could have been better as I found the gravy a bit watery.

Atmosphere is nice as we got a table facing the lake which was lovely. However, unfortunately the restaurant has work going on outside and hence the parking area is challenging and even to enter the restaurant is. That is not the restaurant fault but it is unfortunate.

Overall, I would give it a 3 star. I drove 35 kms one way to try this place based on someone’s recommendation. I think it’s important for people to give realistic and good recommendations but equally important is to read...

We loved this place and it was much better than we expected...While travelling from Innsbruck to Strasbourg we wanted to get some Indian food and google recommended this restaurant ...it was easy to locate and very importantly free parking was available on site ..however note there are limited spaces so it could be difficult to find one.. The view outdoor is overlooking the lake and on a beautiful sunny afternoon it looked even more amazing..
