Pizzeria Luna — Restaurant in Glarus Süd

My dad and I came here for dinner last night and ordered a pizza and some pasta. I could barely eat the pasta without adding all of the Parmesan I was given, and adding a lot of salt and pepper, even then the pasta was almost flavorless. The pizza was ok. When we went to pay, after waiting a good amount of time to even get our check, we were then told that their card machine “didn’t accept American cards”. Both my dad and I have visas and Mastercards which have been used in over 25 countries collectively without a problem in any of them, not to mention all through Switzerland so I doubt they “couldn’t accept American cards.” Regardless, I was then forced to walk to a nearby ATM in the pouring rain and get enough cash to cover the dinner. This has to be one of the most underrated restaurants in the entire Glarus area. The chef has amazing skills and the staff is extremely friendly. For pasta carbonara they used traditional bucatini thick pasta with gunciale from pecorino region in Italy and it tasted amazing, so did the pizza with spicy salami. Freundlicher Empfang beim Eingang durch die Servicemitarbeiterin. ReservierteR Tisch war bereit. Ebenfalls grüsste uns der Pizzakoch und der Chef aus dem Hintergrund. Wir entschieden uns für Pizza 🍕 und zum Voraus für grünen Salat. Salate waren frisch angerichtet und knackig, mit guter Französischer Salatsauce. Pizzen waren sehr gut. Knuspriger Teig, heiss und gut belegt bis fast an den Rand. Sehr gut im Geschmack und eine ordentlich Grösse. Nichts geht über eine Pizza welche direkt aus dem Holzofen kommt und heiss und brutzelnd direkt serviert wird. Dieses Restaurant verdient definitiv mehr Gäste.
