Always a pleasure to go to the top of le Moléson. Not only because of the magnificent view over French speaking Switzerland. Expect to see Lac Léman, Lac de Neuchâtel, Lac de Gruyère and numerous mountain peaks. Expect an equally amazing sun rise or sunset if you decide to go early in the morning or if you decide to stay late in the evening. Read moreThis is indeed a restaurant with a view. Very accessible via car and just 5km ahead of Gruyère. You can park your car just next to the funiculaire station. The parking is free. SBB discounts don't work here but the tickets are discounted for senior citizens and children. The train takes you to a cable car, which takes you to the restaurant. The restaurant is self serve mostly with fondue cheese burger and rosti as highlight. Above the restaurant of you climb two flights of stairs there is a beautiful panaromic view of switzerland with main cities and mountain peaks labeled.
