Every time I go to l’Ancolie I was and am pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of the owners-William and Lucille-and their dedicated staff. You feel very welcome, cozy indoors or on their lovely terrace. We had lunch today. I was first surprised by the deer samosa. The chamois was excellently cooked (please try it if you manage to come on time). It goes well with curry cabbage and red wine pear in the dish. Also, the kumquat sorbet is perfect with the pumpkin pie. Delicious! Look forward to my next visit.
