Restaurant Buech is one of those peaceful places you find yourself wanting to return to. Set among open fields, with a terrace overlooking the Alps, it offers a perfect setting for family gatherings – just like the birthday celebration we shared for my daughter.
The kitchen draws on local ingredients – fresh produce from regional farmers and wine from their own vineyard. The flavors are honest, the presentation minimal yet thoughtful, with a surprising depth in every dish. Service is discreet and professional, adding to the experience in a natural, effortless way.
Buech captures something quintessentially Swiss – calm, order, and understated elegance. I’m especially grateful we could enjoy this time with our dog Flöki – places that welcome four-legged companions are truly special to me.
Thank you for the atmosphere, the taste, and the memories – nothing extravagant, just...
Read moreGestern hier gegessen.
3 x Kalbsgeschnetzeltes, 174 CHF!!!
174CHF . Man hat der uns abgezockt! Teurer als das Filetsteak, unglaublich....!
Also, wer wenig essen will, und ich bin da noch objektiv , dafür aber horendes Geld bezahlen möchte, ist hier an der richtigen Stelle.
Gesamtpreis, Vorspeise 3x, Kalbsgeschnetzeltes 3x , Nachtisch 2x, kein Alkohol, kein Kaffee = 374CHF!

Eaten here yesterday. There were three of us. Cute atmosphere but only small windows to the lake.
Reception was very nice. but...
We studied the menu, the most expensive on the menu was the fillet steak. About 56CHF. But the boss was "very friendly" and recommended daily specials that were not on the menu. There was fish for 2 or dorads for one etc. but also veal stew with puree. So, the 3 of us ordered the veal stew.
Starter carpaccio and raw salad, both very (!) limited in size.
Then came the veal stew. Also very (!!) limited in size but ok.
The big surprise came at the end. 3 x veal stew, 174 CHF!!! I asked if the price wasn’t somewhat overpriced, the answer was no. So more expensive than the most expensive dish on the menu, the Filet steak... wow
Meat weight per serving, about 80-100g. Mashed potatoes were in a circle around and some gravy. 174CHF. He truly ripped us off, well done! More expensive than the fillet steak, unbelievable ...!
So if you want to eat poorly, and want to pay ridiculous money for it, here's the right place to go to.
Total price, starter 3x, veal stew 3x, dessert 2x, no alcohol, no...
Read moreThis place is absolutely beautiful from the setting to the view. The service is one the best I’ve ever experienced anywhere. The food is absolutely delicious enough that I drove 1 and a half hours just to experience it. Highly recommend the very spicy beef tartare if you can handle the heat. Couldn’t recommend this place enough, coming from Florida in the USA this place was what I imagined a great Swiss restaurant to look and feel and taste like. Please give them a try if you’re interested I couldn’t...
