Restaurant at the Sihl in a farm house in the middle of a field. Very idyllic. Food is very basic, mostly meat options. Quite big portions and the meat on the dishes is good and big. The restaurant is located at a very nice hiking trail (kids friendly) which starts in Sihlbrugg and can be reached in a bit more than an hour.

Nach kurzer Wanderung von Sihlbrugg Dorf erreichten wir die Bäsebeiz. So wunderbar gemütlich wird man empfangen. Wir waren schier erschlagen von den günstigen Preisen. Es kommt alles aus eigener Produktion. So ist die Entscheidung auch schnell gefallen. 400g Entrecote mit Salat für 36 CHF. Unglaublich aber wahr und dazu noch eines der besten Entrecotes die ich je hatte. Wir haben fast 4 Stunden dort verbracht. Sehr zu empfehlen um zu geniessen und zu sein. Vielen Dank.

The best and most delicious 'Schweinssteak' I've ever had was here at the 'Bäsebeiz a dä Sihl'. Great place and great hosts. I'd like to visit again from far away. Best regards and wishes to all from the Silicon Valley in...
