Total disaster! We went last Sunday for brunch. The location is nice, atmosphere is good, coffee is decent and a lot of toys were available for the kids. However, there is a total chaos prevailing. I felt that it was not well organized. Here are some points: a) We were told that we will get our omelets after 25 mins but we got them after almost an hour. c) no one was cleaning the tables. We had to do it on our own. d) A table next us was held unclean for nearly 2 hours. e) After we got the omelet we had to take ourselves fork and knife cause no one brought to us. f) napkins were nowhere to be seen g) the same person that was making coffee had to gather the used cups from the tables. Same person that was cleaning dishes was preparing the juices, etc. h) they lack of cups, dishes, glasses, etc. They were "cleaning" them quickly, drying them with a towel and directly serving the next customer. Even food was not enough. We saw someone quickly going out (most probably to the nearest open Market) to bring additional supplies. I) I saw a poor lady "washing" everything by hand. I don't know why the washing machine was not working. She was cleaning very fast and I doubt that it was done properly. j) The omelet definitely didn't worth the wait. Nothing special and we couldn't find anywhere salt to add and make it more tasty
This is all mentioned in good will cause I feel that the place is really nice and it has a lot...
Read moreWent there yesterday with a fiend for a coffee and ordered 2 lattes. Waitress (blonde girl) brought (or better to say threw) them, spilled my friends’ coffee and ignored our “thank you”. Well we kinda got used to rude service so we ignored this. The coffee was over-roasted and smelled like burnt and that wasn’t latte at all. So we asked to change it. They brought us new coffees but they had the same taste. We didn’t want to argue so I just added a lot of sugar and my friend didn’t drink her coffee at all. After that owner brought us apologies croissants (that’s why I put 2 stars). The thing is - I understand that they use special roasting technique and not everyone likes it, but you also have to know how to make proper coffee latte or cappuccino and it’s not done just by adding milk in espresso🤷♀️
And I really recommend owner even sometimes just apologize and admit they we’re wrong. Every answer here causes unwillingness to come...
Read moreRead moreDecent coffee beans. Fairly strong in taste as many of the ones I tried were all pretty dark roasts. If that's your thing, you're at the right address. I prefer slow roasted robusta beans that are strong, too, but not nearly as strong as the 6 to 7 types of beans I tried from Onesto. Very dark roast are hampering a coffee's taste imo. Service wasn't too responsive when I tried to get them to send me fresher roasts even though I asked for larger quantities. You guys seem a little busy. I eventually switched to a roaster with a larger medium roast offering where I get my beans max 2 to 3 days after roasting. This whole 10 day wait to use a fresh roast isn't for me. I can tell the difference if a coffee is 14 days old and it won't cut it for me. 4 weeks reduces viscosity to a point where it's peeing through my open portafilter. So long Onesto. The 40 to 50 CHF is what I spent on my coffee order,...
