Besenbeiz Remel — Restaurant in Kleinlützel

If I knew how to rate this establishment at less than one; I would. I booked a table for fondue and arrived as a party of 5 on time at 1pm. We were continuously asked to be patient and wait. Eventually, I insisted that our order for food to be taken; to be told, "sorry we have run out of fondue". I am at a loss to explain how this is acceptable treatment. I am also at a loss to explain why the single round of drinks that we were served during our 1.5 hour wait were not offered on a complimentary basis. Still, it will no doubt help us at least to recognise tragically bad standards of service in the future. This can be the metric by which we measure service in the future so I guess not all is lost. Schreckliche Erfahrung, ohne Respekt für uns als Kunden.
